Right after the incredible Summer Games Fest and Day of the Devs streams, we had a new direct coming from Devolver Digital themselves! The presentation was awesome and showed off some incredible games we can't wait to check out! Here are the games that were shown off in the presentation:

Baby Steps

Devolver Digital, in a spectacular presentation by Volv-E, introduced two novel independently developed video games. The first of these, Baby Steps, is a unique walking simulator crafted by the minds behind Ape Out: creators Gabe Cuzillo, Maxi Boch, and Bennett Foddy. Slated for a 2024 release on PC and PlayStation 5, Baby Steps tells the story of Nate, an unemployed man who discovers the newfound power of taking one step at a time in a world bathed in mist.

Set against a soundtrack of 420 beats, the game allows players to explore a mountainous terrain at their own pace, complete with local fauna, non-collectible hats, and the fully dynamic onesie soilage system. Baby Steps promises a blend of engaging physics-based gameplay and immersive storytelling in what can be best described as a literal walking simulator.

Human: Fall Flat 2

Alongside Baby Steps, Devolver Digital unveiled the highly anticipated sequel to the successful game Human: Fall Flat. The upcoming game, Human: Fall Flat 2, is developed by the creative geniuses at No Brakes Games and promises to elevate the puzzle-platformer experience with new levels, customizable characters, and enhanced physics-based fun.

This sequel guarantees a new level of chaos, intricacy, and enjoyment for players. With each level packed with new toys and gadgets to interact with, players can solve a range of ingenious puzzles solo or in teams of up to eight friends. Human: Fall Flat 2 is set to offer a slapstick experience like no other with its new physics engine, gameplay interactions, and mechanics.

The Talos Principle II

In addition to the new releases, Croteam's The Talos Principle II was showcased in an exclusive gameplay reveal during the presentation. Scheduled to release later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the sequel to The Talos Principle promises to be even larger and more engaging than its predecessor.

The Talos Principle II offers an expansive new world of puzzles to solve, along with new puzzle mechanics, a deeper storyline, and more secrets to uncover. The game invites players to explore a series of strange and breathtaking environments while grappling with the existential questions surrounding human culture and its long-extinct creators.

Wizard with a Gun

Devolver Digital also dropped a single-player demo for Galvanic Games' upcoming title, Wizard with a Gun, alongside an overview trailer that provides a glimpse into the game's desolate, broken world. The demo introduces players to The Shatter – a fragmented world under invasion – and allows them to explore, craft, and battle against the forces of chaos.

Expected to launch later this year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Wizard with a Gun will also support online cooperative play. More information about the game can be found on its official website.

SLUDGE LIFE 2

SLUDGE LIFE 2, which had its release date announced as June 27 during Volv-E's pre-show, is the final title in Devolver Digital's exciting lineup. A standalone teaser for SLUDGE LIFE 2 was unveiled, prompting players to assist Big Mud in finding his mojo again through exploring a recording studio, interacting with characters, discovering secrets, and photographing cats.
