Death by Scrolling is an interesting enough sidescroller that launched this month, and nothing gets you in the mood for the day like killing clowns. A new patch is out that improves upon some of the performance issues that happened at launch, including some nice Steam Deck adjustments.

Build 169 focuses on improving performance across all platforms, with stuttering problems fixed on the Steam Deck as the main improvement for us! Furthermore, a restart option is now in the game, some challenge descriptions have been rewritten to make them easier to understand, and players can finally remove Chance Cards manually, so they can pick up new ones past Level 8. Overall, not a bad update for Death by Scrolling.

Death by Scrolling is $8.99 on Steam.
