I don't play many racing games personally, but CarX Street is one of the few I could see myself playing. It's a gorgeous-looking game where we will build our dream car, fine-tune our cars, and take part in races across mountains, highways, and city streets. It looks amazing, and in the latest update, it should be significantly better to play on the Steam Deck.

CarX Street

The latest update, which went live four days ago, brought full Steam Deck and Linux support. We now have a specific Linux build for the game, which should help with performance on the Deck. On top of that, we now have a dedicated graphics preset for the Deck, so it should theoretically be smooth right out of the box.

This should theoretically make the game ready for that Steam Deck Verified badge. The only reason it was rated as Playable is due to needing to change the graphics settings for optimal play manually, so now that we have a dedicated default graphical preset, we should be get that green checkmark. I haven't personally played the game yet, so I don't know how well it runs, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun to play on the go.
