Block Fortress 2 seems like the exact kind of game I would love to play with friends. It may only be single-player, but I love the idea of building a base and defending it against enemies with a plethora of awesome weapons. It would be awesome if it were multiplayer, but I would still play it, especially with its fixes for the Steam Deck.

The newest update contains a ton of bug fixes, but only one relates to the Steam Deck directly. There was an issue where the virtual keyboard wouldn't automatically pop up when entering text on the Deck, but after this update, it should be working again.
Other than that, we have fixes that span multiple different aspects of the game. These include bugs where deleting a banner would refund double the resources spent, auto-jumping in some areas when there isn't enough room to jump up to the next block, and where some melee attacks could attack a block diagonally even if it was covered on both sides. There were also two improvements: you can choose to skip the tutorial if you're a new player, and the cost to remove tree blocks in campaign mode has been reduced.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Block Fortress 2 is $19.99 and rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, small in-game text, and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard. However, that last point should be fixed now!
