Bionic Bay is one of the best platformers I have ever played. In my review, I went over how much I love this physics-based platformer, the wonderful setting, gorgeous visuals, great balance between precise controls and so much chaos, and how great it performs on the Steam Deck.. It's wonderful, and the newest patch makes it a bit better to enjoy on the go.

The new update is a small one, but welcome nonetheless! For the Steam Deck, the Large Hints Buttons option will now increase the size of the ChronoLag timer display. We should now be able to see the timer a bit easier on the Deck with this option enabled, and for speedrunners on the Deck, this will be invaluable.
The update also introduces a couple of fixes and a new option for gravity controls. Deleting save data will no longer reset progress towards achievements, and there were some level boundary issues that were patched up. There's also a new setting that allows you to swap the movement direction control. Screen Space was the default, but now we have an option for Character Relative if moving around wasn't feeling as good as it should.
You can check out the changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Bionic Bay is on sale for $17.99 until April 30th and is rated Verified.
