Before writing this article, I had never heard of Big Dig Energy, but I love the name. It's a co-op mining game where you will be digging for ore, upgrading tools, and need to reach the core of the planet to fuel your rocket and leave Earth for good. It looks like an enjoyable co-op experience, and it's getting a lot better to play on the Steam Deck.

In their newest update, we have a couple of improvements that will affect the Steam Deck. Specifically, there are now optimized settings for the Deck, and a specific checkbox to tick for automatic application of the settings. We also have support for the Vulkan API, which is the graphics module supported on Linux devices. This should help a lot with playing on the Steam Deck and using FSR upscaling.

While we also have DLSS support, and a fix for dynamite being thrown while saving, there aren't other changes. Developer NuggetSmash noted that they are working on more Steam Deck optimizations to improve the framerate, which makes me very happy to see.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.
