Against the Storm is an awesome survival citybuilder, and the second DLC for the game has been announced! Nightwatchers introduces the Bats as a new species, two new biomes, and more as players continue their journey on behalf of the Scorched Queen.

The Bats are unique but volatile companions on an expedition into the wilderness. Their Manorial Court ability is used to expel a member of another species as motivation, and they also gain resolve when other species leave the settlement. Such lovely companions, of course!

The two new biomes are Rocky Ravine and Bamboo Flats:  the former is a desolate place with no trees but rich in other resources, while the Bamboo Flats has a helpful Fluffbeak who can fertilize the dead soil, provided you can manage its own needs! In addition, Nightwatchers will come with new orders, world events, rewards, and even some new music. The free 1.8 update will also drop alongside this DLC, adding a new Smoldering City upgrade, a new way to fulfill service needs, and a bunch of the usual bug fixes.

Against the Storm is available on Steam, and the Nightwatchers DLC will be out later this month!
