It's time to grow some crops and make some money! Acres is a small-scale strategy game about growing your farm to create your own business. You'll upgrade equipment, optimize your harvests, nurture the soil, and more to make as much money as possible. Despite it being on a smaller game, it looks like a lot of fun, and it's getting better to play on the Steam Deck.

With the latest update for the game, we have some UI enhancements for those playing on a Steam Deck. The game menu was redesigned so custom settings are moved and detailed graphics settings are hidden for simplicity. We also have the top bar extra details hidden on the Deck to make it look less cluttered when playing.

The update also adds in a couple of neat features. There's a new Tractor Dispatch Post to help simplify end-game automation, leaderboards to compete with others, order system updates with a new setting and manual sell option, save game enhancements to show more metadata and improve the UI, more performance optimizations and better controller support, and more.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Acres is $14.99 and rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.
