Even though I don’t like racing games, I have been really enjoying Forza Horizon 6. Driving around Japan and collecting cars to race around the beautiful world is a treat. It’s been a lot of fun, and while I wasn’t necessarily looking for a way to enhance the experience, I came across a post on Twitter/X that is making me even more excited to get the Steam Frame.

Recently, I saw a post from @djlufz on Twitter/X, where they talked about how they wanted to play Forza Horizon 6 in VR, then they proceeded to make it happen. On top of that, they attach a video showing the game running through the lenses of a VR headset. Later that same day, they posted again, showing that they are making a launcher.
In the comments on both posts, they mention that they are working on head tracking with the Quest controllers as a game pad, and the performance is quite good. In the newer post, they mentioned that they will be releasing this for free. There doesn’t seem to be any timeframe on when this would happen, and there could be a risk when it comes to the game’s anti-cheat. Still, I’m looking forward to seeing how this will shake out, because being able to play Forza Horizon 6 in VR sounds awesome.
Hopefully, it will support the Steam Frame and controllers. I highly doubt it will run natively on the headset, but streaming it is definitely an option from a more powerful PC. I’m going to be watching out for this one because I can’t wait to make the most out of the Steam Frame when it’s in my hands.
