There are a few games that I am extremely excited for, but towards the top of that list is Big Walk. From the developers behind Untitled Goose Game, this is a game about working together with friends to solve puzzles on a giant island filled with colorful structures. It looked incredible, and I was hoping that it would be flyable on the steam deck. And after today, it’s looking like likely that it will be enjoyable on the go.

Not long ago, the game officially got the Verified badge. The badge from valve notes of the game has a good default, controller, configuration and graphical settings, the in-game text is legible, and the controller icons are correct. All in all, this is Valve’s way of saying it should be a great experience on the deck.
However, Valve has recently been dropping the ball on their ratings. Halo: Campaign Evolved got a Verified badge, despite the game regularly dropping below, 30 FPS, and Disgaea Mayhem got the Playable badge despite the insane graphical artifacting. So, it’s best to take this rating with a grain of salt.
Still, it’s exciting to see, and I can’t help but be hopeful that it will be a great game to play on go. Looking at the minimum requirements, it definitely sits within what the Steam Deck is capable of. Because of this, I do think it’s possible that the rating is legitimate. Time will tell for sure, but I do have hope.

Big Walk can we wishlisted ahead of it August 4th release date.
