We at SteamDeckHQ were quite impressed with Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and Atlus has announced a free demo for the game! It is available to download and play right now on Steam.

In the demo, players can choose between two story paths, the brand-new story “Canon of Vengeance” or the original story from Shin Megami Tensei V, “Canon of Creation”. Players will explore what was once Tokyo: an expansive wasteland called Da’at that is torn apart by a conflict between angels and demons. Progression from the demo will carry over to the full game, and both story paths can be experienced for those interested in exploring each. The scope of the demo is quite large, and it gives people a chance to try the game for free before deciding to drop the money on the full title.
