Valve has been absolutely crushing bringing new games to the Verified and Playable status with hundreds of games being added weekly! This is hard to go through and list all of them, so here are some of the highlights that we found from the last week.

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing right out-of-the-box. Some of these games require work to optimize and play well.

SYNTHETIK 2 (Playable)

Fight a world overrun by the relentless Machine Legion in this roguelike top-down shooter. Upgrade your guns and gear while mastering the weapon mechanics to demolish the enemies where no two runs are the same. With new gameplay systems, reimagined classes, and a whole new world, SYNTHETIK 2 takes from its predecessor and pushes every aspect to the max.

EARTH'S DAWN (Playable)

Earn XP to unlock new abilities across a massive skill tree, create new swords, guns and equipment with materials harvested from the battlefield. You can choose your own mission path to discover the unique story the game harbours while utilizing an in-depth crafting system and cutomizable skill tree to become stronger.

PIXEL NOIR (Verified)

Muster your detective skills and gather your allies as you take to the streets to prove your innocence. Fight enemies in turn-based combat and unleash devastating combo attacks by teaming up with others. You can also upgrade weapons with modifications to fit your play style and solve a variety of mysteries as Pinnacle City’s cheapest Private Eye.

The game is $15 and rated Steam Deck verified!

THE OREGON TRAIL (Playable)

Survive blizzards, broken limbs, snakebites, starvation, and the dreaded dysentery all while navigating an untamed frontier to get your party to their new life in Oregon. With a beautiful blend of charming pixel art characters, 3D environments and new lighting and visual effects, The Oregon Trail is back with a unique visual style that’s both nostalgic and contemporary. Manage your inventory to squeeze everything you can into the wagon to overcome hundreds of random events where your choices affect the fate of your travelers.

Experience the contrasting stories of the fall of mankind and lush wildlife in a world reclaimed by nature. With a wolf as your main character and a determined companion at your side, you will explore the land, sea, and air, as you possess any creature you come across and view the new world from a whole new perspective. The entire design of the game is used perfectly to awe-inspire the player and give them the chance to explore at their own pace.

ASTLIBRA REVISION (Verified)

Explore a vast, dangerous, and beautiful world. Broken up through multiple chapters, join the protagonist and Karon, his talking bird companion, as they confront time and fate in this 2D action RPG. Fight aggressively while thinking strategically and choose the most trustworthy equipment to deal with ever changing circumstances. With 6 difficulty options, all kinds of players can enjoy the game at their own pace. With a fresh take on turn based combat and character progression, you will dive into turn based battles and explore the depths of tactical choices needed to survive the fights you encounter. A unique talent board system will let you to swap talents on and off at will, allowing you to finely tune each character to your desired playing style.

The game is $30 ($5.39 on sale) and rated playable due to needing to change resolution settings in-game and you might need a community or modified controller layout.

PREDECESSOR (Playable)

Unlike most MOBAs, Predecessor puts you into the heart of the action with a Third-Person perspective that fully immerses you into the game as enemies appear from shadow walls, over ledges, or from behind you. You and four allies join arms in battle as you fight for glory on the battlefield against enemy heroes on a traditional 3 lane map featuring an interactive jungle, epic monsters, and more. As a hero collects more gold they can buy items from the shop that influence their heroes in interesting ways.

ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA (Playable)

BENDY AND THE INK MACHINE (Playable)

Play as Henry as he revisits the demons of his past by exploring the abandoned animator's workshop of Joey Drew Studios. This first-person puzzle horror game will forever ruin your childhood love of cartoons as you solve riddles and try to escape the workshop, but beware of twists and turns around every corner. You will never look at cartoons the same way again after this experience.

ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 (Verified)

Once you've honed your skills in 3 on 3 tag team battles, hop online and go head-to-head against players from around the world to see who is the strongest in the Marvel and Capcom universe.

SPARK THE ELECTRIC JESTER 3 (Playable)

Continuing directly from where Spark the Electric Jester 2 left off, Spark is back on a mission to overthrow his rival. Blaze through fast action packed stages and experience a new and improved combat system. The gameplay is a mix of action and platforming in a clever way, taking elements from many games of both genres. Think Sonic Adventure mixed with Devil May Cry combat and you will get this game.

Bear and Breakfast is a laid-back management adventure game where you play as a well-meaning bear trying to run a B+B in the woods. As your business expands, so do the mysteries of the forest, and you will soon finds yourself uncovering a plot deeper than the wilderness itself. And yes, you can build and personalize your inn with dozens of guest rooms, bathrooms, parlors, and entertainment to bring guests into the forest to stay at your inn.

TALES OF THE NEON SEA (Playable)

Welcome to a world of intrigue and suspicion where humans and robots contend with escalating tensions and mutual distrust. The game features stunningly detailed retro pixel-art, coupled with modern atmospheric lighting and sumptuous visual effects, which bring this unique cyberpunk world to life. You take on the role of Rex, a veteran cop turned hard-boiled detective, where you will solve a strange murder case involving clues from a robot rebellion. THE MORTUARY ASSISTANT (Playable)

Having completed your degree in mortuary sciences, you have taken on an apprenticeship at River Fields Mortuary.  Over the past several months you have logged many hours aiding the Mortician in daily tasks along with learning the ins and outs of the embalming process as well as how to properly handle and care for the deceased, but there is something different about these bodies. This first-person horror game will have you embalming corpses all while keeping demonic forces away. Can you piece together clues and perform the correct rituals to save your soul?

The game is $25 ($20 on sale) and rated playable due to possibly needing a community or modified controller layout.

SOLAR ASH (Playable)

Fight through mobs of grotesque creatures, grind rails with sheer delight, grapple to wild heights, take down enormous bosses, and surf the ashen clouds of shattered, bygone worlds swallowed by the void. Set amidst a surreal dreamscape filled with long-abandoned ruins of great civilizations past, you play as Rei, a Voidrunner determined to stop at nothing to save her planet from falling prey to the Ultravoid’s path of eternal hunger.
