We saw a lot of titles get the Steam Deck Verified/Playable badges that really deserve it! Riven finally got the Verified badge, along with Creatures of Ava and SCHiM. The newly Steam-released Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and The Crush House got their Playable badges, which they deserve. We do have a special mention for DOOM + DOOM 2, which has an Unsupported badge but works perfectly.

Riven (Verified)

SCHiM (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

SCHiM is a game about jumping from shadow to shadow in a relaxing and lively environment. This 3D platformer takes elements of light, shadow & animation and adds them directly to the gameplay, delivering an experience that you will only find in SCHiM.
The game is $24.99 and rated Verified.
Cataclismo (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Design and build fortresses brick by brick to stand against endless hordes of Horrors in this real-time strategy game with resource management, siege defense, and exploration. Lead from the ramparts, push back the darkness, and hold fast against the creatures of the Mist.
The game is $29.99, in early access, and rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and small in-game text.
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown (Playable)

Dash into a stylish and thrilling action-adventure platformer set in a mythological Persian world where the boundaries of time and space are yours to manipulate.
The game is on a 40% off sale at $23.99 until August 22nd and rated Playable due to a 3rd party launcher needing setup and the game needs you to manually quit via the Steam overlay.
Zet Zillions (Playable)

Zet Zillions is a single-player roguelike deckbuilder where you use your cards to make freakish combinations and explode entire planets. BIG-BADDA-BOOM!
The game is $9.99 and rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons and small in-game text.
The Star Named Eos (Verified)

The Star Named EOS is a story-rich puzzle adventure built around photography. Recreate compositions of past photos to uncover the truth of a family mystery. Experience a harmonious mixture of beautiful hand-drawn art and engaging puzzles on a journey of reminiscence.

Earth Defense Force 6 (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

The game is on a 10% off sale at $15.29 until August 23rd and rated Playable due to small in-game text.
Special Mention:
DOOM + DOOM 2 (Unsupported)

Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993 and 1994, the definitive, newly enhanced versions of DOOM + DOOM II are available as a combined product.
The game is $9.99 and rated Unsupported, but all the games run flawless on the Steam Deck. The DOS versions don't recognize the controller inputs, but they do technically run and can work on Deck. Either way, don't let the rating discourage you!
