There are some fantastic new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games, including some awesome upcoming titles. Subnautica 2 and Mixtape both got the green checkmarks, while Wardrum and Better Than Dead got their Playable badges, respectively.

Subnautica 2 (Verified)

Mixtape (Verified)

On their last night together, three friends embark on one final adventure. Play through a mixtape of memories, set to the soundtrack of a generation.

Wax Heads (Verified)

Wax Heads is a cozy-punk narrative sim about working in a struggling record store. Chat to quirky customers with unique tastes, explore a handcrafted record collection, fall in love with bands (and their drama!), or just slack off with your colleagues - whatever gets everyone’s groove back!

The game is on sale for $12.74 until May 19th and is rated Verified.

Wardrum (Playable)

Lead a tribal warband and time your attacks to the beat of the Wardrum in this tactical turn-based roguelite! Forge a path across a harsh fantasy world full of rhythm magic, face death and strengthen your warriors until you have the power to destroy the dark sorcery infecting the lands.

The game is $19.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons and small in-game text.

Better Than Dead (Playable)

A brutal bodycam FPS set in Hong Kong. Kill your captors, rescue the others, and record every second of your revenge.

The game will release on May 12th and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, small in-game text, needing a community controller configuration, and manually changing the graphical settings for optimal play.

Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War (Verified)
