If you are a fan of colony simulators like Rimworld, I highly recommend checking out Stardeus. It's a deep colony sim where you have to manage your human colony as an AI, trying to repair your ship and save them. With full controller support, this sounds like a great alternative to Rimworld, and with the newest update, it's becoming even more desirable to play.

The new patch has tons of changes in it, but there are two specifically for the Steam Deck. There's a UI change where we don't need to scroll through several different widgets anymore, which makes them much easier to use, and the language button will no longer get hidden behind the news panel.

The update is pretty massive overall, though. There's a new story generation system that is more modular and easier to tweak, a new raid management system that has its own schedule and takes your colony's strength into account with some new raid types, there's a new colony drama and social relationship system, new hyperjump mechanics, each colonist has now visible eyes and unique faces, devices now have their own animations, there are new story elements like Comet Showers, Stabbing, and so much more. It reminds me more and more of Rimworld with all of these changes, and I love that.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.
