Yooka-Replaylee is the third in the series for Playtonic Games, and they announced the return of Shovel Knight in the game!

While there is no release date yet for Yooka-Replaylee, I am looking forward to seeing how Playtonic improves upon their famous formula. Regardless, Playtonic are celebrating their 10th anniversary in February, and are doing that in style with Shovel Knight.

In their words, they sent a word to their friends at Yacht Club Games (Shovel Knight creators) to let them know the Knight has ended up in Yooka’s wacky world once more. Apparently, they can keep Shovel Knight for a while, so fans of the Yooka series can look forward to seeing him again. There is also a new quest featuring him!
