When it comes to hyper-realistic vehicle simulation, I look no further than Saber Interactive. Their Snowrunner series is unmatched, and RoadCraft is a great addition to it. You will take control of a multitude of vehicles to repair and overcome natural disasters to restart the local industry. It's an awesome game, and it just got a huge new update that has some solid improvements that could make it a better experience on the Steam Deck.

RoadCraft

In the huge new update, there are a ton of great new features and content, but there are some huge new changes that should help Steam Deck's playability. We do have specific fixes for the Deck with minor performance/visual optimizations and font fixes, but we also have some other new features that could help playability further. They have implemented XeSS upscaling support, which I found to be better than FSR a lot of the time, and Steam Input support has arrived. This should all make the experience better to play on the go.

But the update's contents don't stop there! There are three new SAR-class vehicles, a new Scout Transporter for flexible logistics, a photo mode, decreased occurrence of rainfall, fixes to the save system to make sure there is less corruption, and new icons in the garage to indicate deployed vehicles. There are also a bunch of fixes across the board, new native support for steering wheels, and an ultra-quality shadow preset has been added.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

RoadCraft is available for $39.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.
