Pioneers of Pagonia launched to a pretty positive reception on Steam as a procedurally generated city builder late last year. And now, Patch 0.8.0 is on the horizon, dubbed the "Quality of Life Update". This update focuses on improving the UI, adding tutorials, and just generally making the playing experience easier and more enjoyable.

But one of those changes directly affects the Steam Deck, and that's the addition of default settings for Steam Deck users.

Once Patch 0.8.0 launches, anyone playing Pioneers of Pagonia on a Steam Deck will automatically have their graphical settings configured to be what the developers feel is the best way to play. This means it can take a lot of hassle out of finding the right settings to use to get the best experience on your Deck, which is what we poor people here at Steam Deck HQ have to do!

Pioneers of Pagonia is available now on Steam and is currently rated as Playable on the Steam Deck, with the developers clearly trying to improve the experience for Deck players.
