The PAYDAY 3 developer Starbreeze is currently running a program known as "Operation Medic Bag", where they listen to community feedback about the game and try to address players' primary concerns.
Well, the time has come for the first of such patches, and it's a pretty big one!
Here's a rundown of the main features that the developers have included in this patch:
- Support for Nvidia DLSS/DLAA/NIS
- Support for DirectX12
- A Hardcore Challenge for the "Cook Off" Mission.
- Ability to more finely adjust controller deadzones
- Rotating Security Modifiers for missions played on Very Hard and Overkill Difficulties.
- Over 300 smaller changes including Quality-of-Life changes and UI, Visual, and Audio fixes.
This isn't the end of Operation Medic Bag either, as the developers have a roadmap of what they would like to achieve based on the community feedback they received, and this patch only covers a small amount of it, check out the roadmap to see what else they have planned.
This is the "Initial Focus" roadmap, which are short-term goals, there are some longer-term goals the developers have planned too, such as bigger content drops and solo/offline play.
PAYDAY 3 is available on Steam now for $39.99 and is rated as "Playable" on the Steam Deck by Valve.
