It has been over 1 year since Palworld was released into early access and took the gaming world by storm and for a good reason. It's a great sandbox survival game, and the way you can capture and utilize your Pals to help you get resources and fight bigger monsters is addicting. It's definitely one of the best multiplayer games out there right now, and the newest update is great if you are running into some bugs on the Steam Deck.

There was a new update a couple of days ago that includes a range of improvements, including a huge one for those playing on the Steam Deck. There were some major bugs that were fixed, which include some bugs that could cause crashes on the Deck. They also have optimized save data files, which should make the install size a bit smaller.

On top of that, developer Pocketpair reworked the Random Pal mode so the level of wild pals has been fixed for each region, so they gradually increase as you progress. Elemental chest rewards have also been adjusted, player rubberbanding issues in multiplayer have been addressed, and a workaround has been implemented so the map data doesn't reset.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Palworld is available on Steam for $29.99 and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, small in-game text, and needing to manually change graphical settings.
