Grounded 2 has enjoyed a successful couple of months since its launch in July, and it is a worthy successor! It just got the big 0.2 update, making it a good time to pick up the game, which adds new content, fine-tunes old features, and finally fixes the game launching on the Steam Deck.

Previously, Grounded 2 would often just fail to boot on the Steam Deck, and even when it did, it was a serious performance hog. This patch has fixed the boot issue and updated the default graphics profile. Alongside this, the patch has added a bunch of new toys.
There are also performance optimizations across the board, a new boss fight, new buildings, several new upgrades for your Buggy, and a much-improved grid building system for better crafting. These are big upgrades, and it’s great to see the game build upon its solid foundation.

Grounded 2 is available on Steam for $29.99, although sadly it is not on sale for the Autumn Sale. It's rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually change the graphical settings, and needing to manually bring up the virtual keybard.
