Ghost Exile is a great game to play during the month of horror and Halloween, and continues to get steady updates. This week, a new patch dropped that helps greatly with performance, especially on the Steam Deck.

This is a pretty chunky patch that adds FSR and DLSS support, which should improve the experience on the Deck significantly when using them. There is also optimization for tent tools, better audio, a frame rate limiter, improved photo quality, and a slew of other balance changes that should smooth out the player experience significantly. Ghost Exile launched in 2022, and it’s great to see updates like this.
Ghost Exile is $14.99 on Steam and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, and small in-game text.
