Garbanzo Quest is an addictive mix of bullet hell and platforming that’s pretty popular, and a new update dropped that greatly improves the performance on the Steam Deck.

Beforehand, there were some nasty audio bugs when playing on the Steam Deck alongside the game struggling more than it should, but this patch fixes all that. There are new audio options, bug fixes to prevent bosses from being stuck out of bounds, translation support, a slew of other bug fixes, and some crucial changes to the level editor. The developer is working on his next game, Super Debt, but it is nice to see he took some time to return to Garbanzo Quest and make this patch.
