There are a ton of awesome new free games to redeem and play on the Steam Deck, with most of them coming directly from Steam! Borderlands 2 is free to keep, though it did get a controversial new update to its EULA, but Hellslave, Tell Me Why, and Holy Clash Cards are all free as well. Epic is giving away Deathloop and Ogu and the Secret Forest, while Amazon is giving away Mordheim for GOG and The Abandoned Planet.
