I remember playing Fallen Aces at PAX East last year, and it has really come a long way. I was the first to ever try it on the Deck back then, and while it did have some parts where it ran okay, there were many more that didn't. Granted, this was before they optimized it for the Deck, and as soon as they did, it was a night and day difference. Now, Fallen Aces got a new update that adjusted some elements for the Steam Deck, and they officially have their own green checkmark to show how great it is on the go.

In their new Wheels of Steel update, there are two specific adjustments for the Steam Deck. We have updated text and UI elements to be bigger and more legible, and the rename and delete profile buttons have been renamed for clarity. These may be small in the grand scheme, but it was enough to help earn Fallen Aces its Verified badge, which is amazing to see!
But there's so much more with this update. The biggest aspect is that every single vehicle asset has been remade, making them look significantly better. There are also new animations, a bunch of fixes here and there, new sprites, map updates and lighting fixes, projectiles will now pass through decorative corpses, the lighter now comes out faster and has a higher radius, and of course, the shitting goon can navigate off the toilet much better.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Fallen Aces is on sale for $9.74 until March 3rd and is rated Verified. I am a huge fan of this game, so I highly recommend picking it up if you are a fan of first-person shooters.
