I enjoyed what I saw from Drop Duchy’s puzzle kingdom building mechanics when I played the demo, and we have a release date!

Drop Duchy will launch May 5, and the demo has been expanded ahead of Steam Next Fest today too. It debuts the new Republic faction for players to play with, who prioritize technology and city advancement over military. The first full act of Drop Duchy’s campaign mode is also available in the new demo, as well as a new difficulty setting, more balancing, and an updated tutorial.

Drop Duchy can be wishlisted on Steam. Steam Next Fest is always a good time to check out upcoming games, and I am excited to see how Drop Duchy has improved in the new demo. Will you be trying it out? Let us know in the comments!
