If you like wacky shooter games, Mycopunk has just been announced! A demo is available to try on Steam, and I am not surprised at all that Devolver Digital is the one publishing it.

Developed by Pigeons at Play, this will be their debut title. In Mycopunk, players are a ragtag group of scrapped robots who are hired by the megacorp SAXON for one final ditch attempt to gain enough profit to survive. Your goal? To explore a destroyed planet infested with fungi. Sounds easy enough!

Mycopunk’s gameplay looks pretty fun, and I like the look of the enemy mechanics. Loot is plentiful, but your team is not the only one who can pick up that loot! Enemy hordes are just as capable of using their destroyed brethren.

Mycopunk can be wishlisted on Steam, and it is due to release this year. Will you be trying the demo? Let us know in the comments!
