SteamOS

A new SteamOS stable and beta update were both released yesterday with some solid changes. In the stable update, we can now enable HDR on Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, and some degraded performance when using FSR has been resolved. As for the beta, there's a fix for delayed start time in some games when no capture device is present. The degraded performance issue is not fixed in the beta yet, so that will most likely come later on.

You can download the updates yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview for the beta update, while the stable update should just be available in any update channel.
