After what felt like the longest wait, the time has finally arrived. Gloomwood has been one of my favorite stealth games for a while, but playing it on the Steam Deck hasn’t always been the easiest. It’s possible, but it didn’t have the support that it needed with its gamepad. Recently, publisher New Blood Interactive teased that support would be coming soon, and yesterday, it finally arrived.

Now, the game should be completely playable and feel good with a controller, which includes the Steam Deck gamepad. It also comes complete with rebinding and updated tutorials to make sure it’s teaching us the right controls. This is great, and should make playing on the Deck so much easier. And it seems Valve feels the same way, because it got the Verified badge.

However, that’s not all with this update. There’s also a new shop in the market plaza to explore, and they have mentioned that work on The Bank is going strong.
You can check out the announcement for yourself via their Steam Community Post.

Gloomwood is $19.99 on Steam.
