Accessories for the Steam Deck have always been quite interesting, and at the top of the list of great accessory makers, JSAUX takes the cake. They were some of the first big names on the scene, and have consistently been bringing out more and more products that improve how we use and transport the Deck. One of my favorites was their carrying case, which I used exclusively for the longest time. However, they are back with a new case, and I think it could be the perfect Steam Deck carrying case.

The Double-Decker Travel Supply Case is a bulky new product, but it contains everything I could ever want from a carrying case. It sports a two-layer design, with the top portion being for the Steam Deck, while the bottom can carry an assortment of accessories and cables. This will be perfect for bringing everything all in one case, eliminating the need for multiple bags or backpacks. It looks big enough to be able to carry everything, and I love that.
However, what really excites me is the extra features it has. The case has some holes to allow you to connect a power bank from the bottom layer to the Steam Deck, allowing it to charge while it is in the case. I am almost constantly on the move when I am traveling, so being able to comfortably charge the Deck in its case while I am walking around is a godsend. I would be worried about heat, but in the feature description, they specifically mention external silicone vents to help provide heat dissipation while charging. I am very curious to see how well this actually works, too.

The top layer also has a screen cover that can fold to act as a stand, so setting it up to play "docked" while in the case is an option. I am not sure if a controller would fit in the case as well, which would help a lot to drive home the stand's usability in an all-in-one case. Still, it's a nice option to have. And with the case being 900D water-resistant with a soft lining inside, the Deck should be very well protected from the elements.

The Double-Decker case is available now, starting at $39.99. There is a Power Bank Kit version as well, which comes with a 20000mAh power bank, though it costs $85.99. However, if you already have your own power bank, it may fit just fine where you don't need another one to take full advantage of the case.
