Rogue Hex is a surprisingly good 4X game that launched last month, and its mix of strategy and deckbuilding mechanics makes for a great time. Previously, it was pretty power hungry, especially on the Steam Deck, but a new update has improved that with some massive changes.

The main features of this new patch are the major performance improvements across the board for Rogue Hex, with up to 50% faster framerates and a new MSAA option. Furthermore, battery drain on the Steam Deck has been halved, which is a major improvement! There are a couple of balance changes here and there, like increasing Heal experience and hunger food income decrease, but the performance is the biggest priority for me.
