Over the past week, we have had some great new titles get their Steam Deck Verified/Playable badges, and it's great. Heretic+Hexen and the upcoming Dead Reset got their Verified badge, and the newly released Grounded 2 got its Playable badge.

Here are the 12 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazingly out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

Heretic+Hexen (Verified)

Step into the definitive re-release of two dark spell-casting shooters that shaped the genre. This enhanced restoration makes Heretic™ + Hexen™ available to new audiences and long-time fans with expanded accessibility across more platforms and languages than ever before.

The game is $14.99 and is rated Verified.

Grounded 2 (Playable)

Shrunk again, but the world is much larger. In this open-world, single-player or co-op survival adventure, craft weapons and armor, build your base, and traverse the playground on your buggy. But something else is out there—and it hasn’t forgotten you.

The game is $29.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and needing to manually set graphics settings for optimal play.

Dead Reset (Verified)

Trapped in a terrifying death-loop, surgeon Cole Mason is kidnapped and brought to an underwater facility, forced to operate on a patient to extract an evolving parasitic horror. Dead Reset is a blood-soaked interactive horror, where each death brings you closer to the truth.

The game will be released on September 11th and is rated Verified.

GUNTOUCHABLES (Playable)

Guntouchables is an online co-op doomsday roguelite for 1-4 players. You play as a gun-toting group of 'preppers' trying to reclaim the world from an ever-evolving horde of mutants, constantly working to develop new unique ways to kill you.

The game is $4.99 and rated Playable due to small in-game text.

Rogue Hex (Verified)

Play your cards right to conquer the world in the Roguelite 4x. Explore mysterious lands, survive against the barbarian horde, and grow your stone age empire into the stars!

The game is on sale for $16.99 until August 23rd and is rated Verified.

Windward Horizon (Verified)

Trade, quest, fight, or simply set sail and enjoy the ambiance in this charming open world naval RPG. Sequel to Tasharen's fan favorite game Windward released on Steam in 2015.

The game is $19.99 and is rated Verified.

Catto's Post Office (Verified)

Deliver mail as Catto, the town's dedicated Postcat, while meeting unique friends in a vibrant cozy town filled with kitty residents.

The game is on sale for $3.99 until August 18th and is rated Verified.

Shuffle Tactics (Playable)

Shuffle Tactics is a roguelike deckbuilding tactical RPG. Strategize to survive tough battles, pick the right cards to create powerful synergies, and bond with your sidekicks to get an edge in battle. Adventure awaits! Will you rise as Asteria's new King?

Deadzone Rogue (Verified)

BlazBlue Centralfiction (Playable)

Combining a 2D fighting game with a visual novel, the BlazBlue series continues on with massive fan support! The latest installation, BlazBlue: Centralfiction, serves as the ending to the Azure Saga, revealing the hidden truth of the world!
