Stardock and Oxide Games have announced that Ashes of the Singularity II will release in 2026. Ashes of the Singularity II is a highly anticipated sequel to the groundbreaking, massive-scale RTS.

The original Ashes of the Singularity allowed players to experience immersive gameplay powered by a multi-core graphics engine. The future is held by AI managing drone constructs to battle against human factions. After a decade, the humans of Earth decided to create their own history. Get ready to command the United Earth Forces to dominate the enemies. These United Earth Forces include human alliances like NATO, China, and Russia, along with Australia and Africa.

An arsenal of advanced units and sophisticated gameplay mechanics is introduced in Ashes of the Singularity II. The game offers greater strategic depth, intricate base-building dynamics, and intense skirmishes against intelligent computer opponents. Players will experience a gripping story-driven campaign set in a chillingly familiar near-future landscape of 2031.

Stardock Entertainment has also shared an Announcement Trailer for Ashes of the Singularity II.

Brad Wardell, CEO of Stardock Entertainment, says, “Ten years ago, we set a new, literal benchmark for RTS games with massive battles and groundbreaking technology. With Ashes of the Singularity II, we’re raising the bar even higher, delivering strategic gameplay depth that RTS fans have always dreamed of.”

Wardell also stated that “Obviously, in the first game, the number one request was to have a human faction. Back then, we just couldn’t support having thousands of organic, walking, squishy people in the world and thus had to design in favor of machines. We’re really excited to bring the humans into the war and watch how they fare against the massive mechanical armies of the Substrate and PHC.”

Ashes of the Singularity II is developed by Oxide Games and published by Stardock Entertainment, and will provide a unique experience to all players. Players can wishlist Ashes of the Singularity II now on Steam, allowing them to join the fight when the game releases.
