We have a ton of great new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games this week, which is awesome. We have newly released games like Warriors: Abyss and Avowed getting badges, while older games like Disney Epic Mickey 2 and Exophobia getting their own as well. There are also some upcoming games like Yu-Gi-Oh and Onimusha 2 getting Verified.

Here are the 17 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

Warriors: Abyss (Verified)

Take command of historic and masterful warriors by challenging countless swarms of enemies. Through victory and defeat, traverse the merciless trials of hell.

The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak 2 (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Return to the Calvard Republic and unravel the mystery of the crimson beast! One day, a shocking series of murders set the wheels of fate into motion once again. Chaos looming on the horizon, the spriggan Van Arkride receives an unexpected visitor. Who is behind the murders, and what is their goal?

The game is $59.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text. However, when I played through the game, I didn't notice text that was too small to read.

Avowed (Playable)

Avowed is a first-person fantasy RPG set in the world of Eora, where your choices carve a path through war, intrigue, and ancient mysteries. Navigate a land in turmoil, forge powerful alliances or deadly rivalries, and wield magic and steel to shape the fate of the Living Lands—and your own destiny.

The game can be pre-ordered for $69.99 ahead of its February 18th release. It is rated Playable due to needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard. I also want to mention that there are drops below 30 FPS when playing Avowed and changing settings are required to make it as stable as possible.

Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered (Verified)

Her legacy lives on! Play the next series of Tomb Raider adventures in this remastered collection of the Darkness Trilogy. Travel the Globe: Follow Lara Croft around iconic locales including Cairo, Rome, Paris, and many more.

The game is $29.99 and is rated Verified.

Yu-Gi-Oh! EARLY DAYS COLLECTION (Verified)

Yu-Gi-Oh! EARLY DAYS COLLECTION is packed with classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games from the very early days of Dueling — bursting with retro RPGs and strategic card games with beloved anime characters!

The game can be wishlisted ahead of its February 27th release and is rated Verified.

Door Kickers 2 (Verified)

Command military Special Ops Teams in gripping tactical combat against a Middle East-based terrorist network. Sequel to RockPaperShotgun's "Best Tactics Game of 2014".

The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.

Windowkill (Verified)

Windowkill is a twin-stick shooter, but the game window itself is constantly closing in on you. Shoot the window edges to push it around your screen as you fight and dodge enemies and bosses in their own windows.

The game is $4.99 and is rated Verified.

Anima Flux (Playable)

Anima Flux is a co-op metroidvania with two genetically enhanced soldiers, special agents of a theocratic dictatorial regime. Fight your way through swarms of mutants through a desolate, dystopian space city and save humanity's last stronghold, if, of course, anyone is still alive...

The game is $19.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.

SWORN (Verified)

SWORN is a 1-4 player co-op action rogue-like. Explore and reclaim a fallen Camelot from the reign of a corrupted Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

The game is $24.99 and is rated Verified.

Disney Epic Mickey 2 (Playable)

Unleash the power of the brush in an all new co-op adventure. Join Mickey and Oswald in an epic battle to save the magical world of Wasteland and change it forever. Interact with your favorite characters like never before in the most heroic adventure yet.

Afterlove EP (Verified)

From the creator of Coffee Talk and What Comes After, comes a slice-of-life adventure set in modern Jakarta about love, loss and finding your own way forward. Step into the shoes of Rama, a young musician struggling to move on with life after the death of his girlfriend, Cinta.

The game is on sale for $17.99 until February 28th and is rated Verified.

Eternal Strands (Playable)

Fight epic, towering creatures while blending magical abilities with an arsenal of powerful weapons to keep the world from crumbling in this third-person, action-adventure game.

The game is $39.99 and is rated Playable due to needing manual configuration of graphics settings and display resolution.

Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 (Playable)

A rogue-lite action-rpg that offers extensive persistent progression. Build your town, upgrade and equip your heroes, before taking on the the ever-changing Dark Citadel - either solo or with a team of friends.

The game is $17.99 and is rated Playable due to needing to manually configure the display resolution.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny (Verified)

Reclaim your destiny. Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny returns with higher resolution graphics and modernised controls to perform issen critical counter attacks and intense swordplay. Experience this dramatic revenge story set in Feudal Japan.

The game can be pre-purchased for $29.99 ahead of its May 22nd release date. It is rated Verified.

Exophobia (Verified)

Explore and fight your way through a crashed human spaceship infested with relentless hordes of aliens as you become more powerful with exciting weapon upgrades and powerups in this retro inspired first-person shooter.

The game is $14.99 and is rated Verified.

Songs of Silence (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Lead armies, rebuild fallen kingdoms, and rise to greatness in Songs of Silence. Embark on an epic journey through an Art Nouveau-inspired fantasy world with intense battles and captivating storytelling!

Footgun: Underground (Verified)
