Ubisoft released something pretty cool recently in Chroma, a real-time color blindness tool as part of the Game Accessibility Conference! Having more ways for people to play the games that they want to play is vital, and Chroma looks like an excellent tool for that.

Chroma

Freely available as open source, it will allow teams across the video game industry to integrate the tool into their projects. The solution was created in response to key insights from Ubisoft’s development teams, who identified critical pain points and collaborated on a smoother way to implement support.

Another nice thing about Chroma is that the tool is not just for game development, but for everything else, from digital art to software development. If you are interested in checking it out, it is available on Github.
