After seeing it for the first time, I am quite intrigued by Those Who Rule. It's a turn-based tactical RPG where you follow three people caught in a web of betrayal. The aesthetic is quite interesting, and the UI reminds me of Fire Emblem when you level up or just check the projected outcome of attacking an enemy. It looks like a great game to play on the Steam Deck, and that is confirmed with the latest patch.

The new update is a small one that includes a quality of life improvement that should help playing on the Steam Deck immensely. Controllers can now use the left stick to navigate the unit into and give them hover icons for tooltips and stats. This may seem small, but for playing on the Steam Deck, it is nearly essential.
This also comes after a huge performance patch that added a 30 FPS option, compressed 2D textures to reduce GPU VRAM usage, the size of the game was reduced from 4.1 GB to 3.4 GB, loading times are much better, and changing to streaming background music and saving 1.2GB of RAM. This is incredible and should be very welcome on limited power devices like the Steam Deck. And knowing they are working on cloud saves right now makes me very happy.
You can check out the Performance Update and Quick Update changelogs from their Steam Community Posts.

Those Who Rule is on sale for $14.39 until April 25th and is rated Verified.
