Some of you may have noticed that, over the past few days, there haven't been as many posts or reviews as there would be normally. While we do have some game reviews coming out, like Sifu, Atelier Ryza 3, and more, we have been working a bit more behind the scenes getting ready for our first press event...PAX East!

Sifu will be played at PAX East

Yes, this is the Steam version of Sifu!

Like I just stated above, this will be our first press event ever, so we have been studying up and getting everything we will need to not only prepare for the interviews and scheduled appointments, but also get ready to post content from PAX on Twitter, YouTube, and articles for the website. It's been a bit nerve wracking since none of us have ever done anything like this before, but we are excited and up for the challenge!

We have got appointments and interviews scheduled for each day, allowing us to check out games including Dead Island 2, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, some upcoming unannounced games, and many more! We can't wait to show you guys all of this as one of, if not the only, Steam Deck-specific outlet that will be at the event.

We can't wait to try Dead Island 2!

When I started SteamDeckHQ (SDHQ) 9 months ago, I never imagined we would be able to do something like this. This outlet bloomed from a kernel of an idea into one of the largest Steam Deck resources out there with over 1.5 million views a month, 300,000+ users monthly, 13.6k Twitter followers, and having the opportunity to review indie and AAA games from amazing developers and publishers.

It blows us away every day and it is all thanks to you guys, the community, that this is possible. We are grateful for the chances we now have thanks to you, so thank you. Thank you for trusting us and being with us as we grow into a sustainable outlet that will bring us closer and closer to doing this full time.

As far as the future goes, we have multiple projects on the horizon, including one that will be released later today, that we can't wait to share with you. We will be expanding our current offerings on Discord with some new events, we have some plans for Twitter, and a new upcoming section to our website to make it THE Steam Deck space to be. So don't worry, we aren't going anywhere and normal content uploads will be back soon, we are just getting ready crank things up to 11! Thank you all again for your support, we can't wait to take SDHQ to the next level!

If you enjoyed this article, be sure to check out the rest of the content on SteamDeckHQ! We have a wide variety game reviews and news that are sure to help your gaming experience. Whether you're looking for newstips and tutorialsgame settings and reviews, or just want to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, we've got your back!
