The Steam Deck LCD Gets Big Discount To Kick Off Autumn Sale A Little Early

For those who are reading about handheld PCs and waiting to get your own, now is going to be the best time to grit your teeth and take the leap of faith! With the Steam Autumn Sale right around the corner, Valve has started kicking off the sale celebrations early by discounting the Steam Deck LCD, making the cheapest handheld PC even cheaper.

Until October 6th, we can get the Steam Deck LCD at a 20% discount, which brings it down from $399 to $319.20. While it doesn't have the extra bells and whistles the OLED Steam Deck has, like a better Wifi card, optimized cooling, larger battery, and the gorgeous HDR OLED screen, the LCD still hits hard with similar power and the great ergonomics. Say what you will about the size, no other handheld feels as good to hold.

The discount will go on until October 6th, which is going to be the end of the Steam Autumn Sale. The sale doesn't actually start until September 29th, so we still have one week to go before we have a bunch of games getting discounted. Still, this is a great way to get in and ready for the game sales early.
