Starcom: Unknown Space looks like a very intriguing action RPG. You build your own starship and explore the galaxy, discovering and enhancing your ship, meeting aliens, and going through a story that spans over 60+ quests. It looks like a lot of fun, and with the newest update, it's going to be even more fun on the Steam Deck.

The new update released today is mainly focused on making sure the game looks and plays better on the Steam Deck so they can get their Verified badge. To do this, they have implemented multiple changes like improved controller functionality, better text scaling at the 1280x800 resolution, no more text overlap, text input fields bringing up the virtual keyboard, improved input handling, dropdowns keep current selection in view when using a controller, and customization now works with a gamepad.
All of this should help bring it up from its Playable badge to the Verified one. The Playable badge lists that it needs a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and small in-game text. So, this update should fix all of those issues!
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Starcom: Unknown Space is available for $24.99 on Steam.
