Slitterhead, the Action-Horror game from Bokeh Game Studio, is less than 3 months out from its planned release date, and this week, the developers confirmed that the game will be shown behind closed doors at Gamescom later this month, so we might well get new footage from press outlets about the game. Also, the game will be playable for the public at PAX West when it rolls around the week after Gamescom, at the end of August.
In case you aren't sure just what Slitterhead is all about, players will take on the role of the "Hyoki", a being without memory or physical form. His aim is to defeat the monsters known as "Slitterheads", who can take on the form of humans. As the "Hyoki", you will travel the neon-drenched streets and ally yourself with humans to find out more about your existence, as well as where these monstrous beings came from.
You also have the ability to take control of your human allies, in order to fight the Slitterheads.
Slitterhead is due to be released on November 8th on Steam, with a price of $49.99. The game will have full controller support, and the system requirements are on the edge of the Steam Deck's capabilities, so, as is becoming commonplace now, we'll have to wait and see if the Deck can handle this one.
