Skygard Arena has recently left Early Access, and it is a fairly solid turn-based tactics game that has flown under the radar for me. However, the official 1.0 update brought a slew of content and enhancements to the game, including Steam Deck support, and I may have to find time to take a look.

The new update for Skygard Arena brings a dedicated controller scheme to the Steam Deck, a new Champion in Seraphine, the deadly queen of the Silver Kingdom, a new Arena to fight in, some new relics, and many new AI teams to fight. This is an extensive content update that has built upon a solid Early Access period, and it’s nice to see a game come out of Early Access in a solid state.

Skygard Arena is $15 on Steam normally, although it has a 35% discount since it left Early Access, bringing the price down to $9.74, that will last until October 2.
