The Nintendo Switch 2 has officially launched, and it’s pretty exciting to see it out in the wild. While my unit isn’t in my hands yet, though it will be in less than 12 hours, others have access to it and have been playing around with the games and performance. It’s been awesome seeing how Hyrule Warriors can finally hit solid framerates and people showing off Mario Kart World’s open world. However, some are taking a road less traveled, and one I couldn’t dream of traveling myself.
JSAUX, the accessory maker for handheld PCs, is branching out into Switch 2 territory with some awesome accessories. They also got their hands on a Switch 2, which is fantastic, but instead of using it, the mad men over there took it completely apart. Of course, I expect someone to disassemble it at some point to take a look at the insides, but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon after it released!
Still, I can’t help but be amazed when seeing it all laid out and organized. It’s intriguing to see the motherboard, heat sink, controller shells, and the joycons inner workings. Would I ever do this myself? Maybe at some point, but definitely not yet, so I gotta say JSAUX caught me off guard here.

They will be posting a full video of the process soon, so I am very much looking forward to that, though I may only have one eye open as I watch in horror of a brand new device being dissected.
