A new Nintendo Direct just dropped, this time focused on Nintendo's 3rd party partners. With a wide range of games shown off over the course of a little over 30 minutes, we've gathered all the announcements together in one place so you can see the latest games coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 from Nintendo's partners.

Announcements from the February 2026 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase:
Co-op Platformer 'Orbitals' Gets a New Trailer, Launches Summer 2026 on Switch 2
Orbitals, a very 1980s-themed co-op adventure in a similar style to games like Split Fiction, is coming exclusively to Switch 2 this Summer. Complete with support for GameShare, so only one player has to purchase the game!
Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse is a Surprise Sequel, Launches February 19th, 2026
In what is almost a shadow drop, the Paranormasight franchise is getting a new game, and it's launching in just 2 weeks on February 19th. This one is launching on both Switch and Switch 2.
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters Brings Over-The-Top Anime Soccer to the Switch in 2026
No firm date on this one, but if you're a fan of over-the-top sports games, then this one might be for you. It's launching on both Switch and Switch 2.
Explore an Underground World Beneath the City in TOKYO SCRAMBLE, Launching February 11th
TOKYO SCRAMBLE is a stealth-action game where you must navigate the labyrinth underneath Tokyo while avoiding creatures called Zinos. If they catch you, you're dead. This game also has the most unique implementation of GameShare I've seen yet, where up to 4 players can be assigned different controls for 1 character (such as camera, movement, etc.) and work together to survive. This is a Switch 2 exclusive.
Survival Sandbox 'Valheim' is Heading to Switch 2 in 2026
I'm a huge fan of Valheim, having sunk many hours into it on PC and Steam Deck. We'll soon have another platform to experience the game on, as it's also heading to Switch 2 later this year.
The developers have confirmed the game will have full cross-platform multiplayer with Xbox and PC, as well as supporting the Joy-Con mouse mode, gyroscopic aiming, and touchscreen for menus.
Hollow Knight is Getting a Free Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade - Out Today
Hollow Knight players were treated to a sneaky shadow drop of a Switch 2 edition of the game, featuring enhanced visuals and frame rate. It's also a free upgrade to those who already own Hollow Knight on Switch.
eFootball Kick-Off! Offers Another Way to Experience Soccer on Switch 2 - Coming Summer 2026
If Captain Tsubasa 2 is a bit over-the-top for your liking, then you might be interested in eFootball Kick-Off!, the next game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series, which is coming to Switch 2 this Summer.
Time Travelling Adventure 'The Adventures of Elliot' Launches June 18th, 2026
In what is a rather gorgeous HD-2D game, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales takes players on a journey across time, exploring Elliot's hometown in 4 different eras, discovering new abilities and creatures in each. This one is also skipping the original Switch.
Super Bomberman Collection Contains 5 SNES Classics - Launches Today
Bomberman is one of the most classic party video games, and if you're a fan, you won't want to miss this one. The Super Bomberman Collection contains 5 SNES games and 2 NES games and is available on both Switch 1 and 2. The Switch 2 version allows you to Gameshare to other Switch devices for multiplayer.
Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth Launches on Switch 2, June 3rd, 2026
This one may have launched on the PS5 2 years ago, but Switch 2 players are finally getting the chance to experience the next chapter in the Final Fantasy 7 remake saga, where Cloud finally leaves Midgard to explore the world.
A Look at Pragmata's Combat - Releases April 24th, 2026
Capcom's Pragmata is an interesting title, proven all the more by the latest gameplay trailer showcasing how combat will function in the game, with a hybrid of third-person shooting mixed with a simultaneous hacking minigame. The game is launching on Switch 2 on April 24th.
A demo is also available today on the Nintendo eShop.
Turok: Origins Shows Over a Minute of Gameplay Without a Shot Being Fired - Launches Fall 2026
Turok: Origins launches in Fall 2026, and I'm still not sure what to make of it. This could end up being a fun and not-so-serious romp through an alien and dinosaur-infested forest, but one thing that did stand out during the minute-long trailer is that the player doesn't fire a weapon at any point, which is a strange omission. This one is just launching on the Switch 2.
2D Exploration Meets 3D Combat in Kyoto Xanadu - Releasing Summer 2026
Explore the labyrinth of Xanadu in 2D platforming, before being thrown into a 3D combat arena when you face foes in this Action RPG where you play as gifted student Rei. This one is launching on both Switch and Switch 2.
Digimon Story Time Stranger is Coming to Switch - July 10th, 2026
In somewhat of a surprise, Digimon Story Time Stranger is coming to the Switch. Not that I'm surprised the game is making its way to a Nintendo system, more that I'm surprised the original Switch can run the game, seeing as the Steam Deck can have issues at points.
The game is launching with both Switch 1 and 2 editions, with the Switch 2 edition having several modes, supporting 4k 30 FPS while docked and 1080p 30 FPS undocked and high visual settings, or 1080p 60 FPS while docked and 1080p 60 FPS undocked with lower settings.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok Brings Solo and Co-op Action, July 9th, 2026
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is back with the Endless Ragnarok edition, giving new solo and multiplayer content. Bring in summons across new game modes, as well as teaming up with your friends on brand new co-op quests for 4 players. This one is only launching on Switch 2.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Launches March 13th, 2026
There's just a month to go until Monster Hunter Stories 3 hits the Switch 2. A spin-off of the Monster Hunter franchise where humans try to peacefully co-exist with monsters, as opposed to hunting them. A demo for the game is also launching today on the Nintendo eShop, with the save data from the demo able to carry over into the full game when it releases.
Rave Racer is the Next Arcade Archives Game, Console Archives Announced
Namco's Rave Racer is the next game to receive the Arcade Archives treatment. Somehow, this one had slipped by me, and I had never heard of it, but it's the third entry in the Ridge Racer series, previously being exclusive to Arcades. It's coming on February 26th, 2026.
In addition to this, Console Archives is a new series just announced, featuring games such as Doraemon, Sonic Wings Special, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Cool Boarders. With the latter 2 available later today!
A Quickfire Sizzle Reel Featuring Goat Simulator 3, REANIMAL, and More!
We got a quick 2-minute sizzle reel next, showcasing games coming out this year on Switch and Switch 2, such as PGA Tour 2K25, Goat Simulator 3, REANIMAL, Tales of Arise, WWE 2K26, and more!
Resident Evil Requiem Launches Later This Month, Here's Another Look
We got another look at Grace's and Leon's perspectives in the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem, literally. You'll be able to switch between 1st and 3rd person mode at any time in the game. We also have confirmation that there will be an easier difficulty option, which will feature aim assist if you want to focus more on the story.
We also got a reminder that Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and Resident Evil Village are also launching on Switch 2 on February 27th, the same day as Requiem.
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition Heading to Switch 2 on February 24th, 2026
Fallout 4 is getting the Anniversary Edition treatment on Switch 2. Get the game, all of its DLC, and some Creation Club items all bundled together when the game launches on Switch 2 on February 24th, 2026.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Launches on Switch 2, May 12th, 2026
Continuing the Bethesda segment, we got confirmation that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be launching on the Switch 2 in May 2026.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Heads to Switch 2 Later This Year
Perhaps the most surprising announcement, as I think many (myself included) expected a Starfield announcement today, but instead we have The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. It'll be interesting to see how this is handled, as the game has been plagued with optimization issues on both PC and consoles since launch, and the Switch 2 is another step down in terms of hardware. This is the first time Oblivion has been available on a Nintendo console.
That's all for this Nintendo Direct. It's good to see Bethesda finally bringing its games to a Nintendo system, and that the library of games is being padded out with a solid catalog of existing games, but I would have liked to have seen a few brand new games that I was excited for.
If you want to watch the entire show yourself, you can do so at the embedded video below:
The next Direct we can look forward to is likely around Pokémon Day for updates on games like Pokémon Pokopia, which should take place at the end of February 2026.
