Looking for more details for the upcoming dark-fantasy action-RPG? Well today, we were treated for a brand new extended gameplay presentation showcasing more aspects of Lords of the Fallen.
There is a lot to check out in this 18-minute presentation, but each second makes me more and more excited for the game. From checking out the semi-open world with major areas interconnected with at least two others, to the dual realm mechanic that gives each area a new look and feel, there will be a lot to explore. And thankfully, we can choose exactly how we decide to venture out into these lands!
The undead counterpart to the living realm is unique in itself. It has its own pathways, enemies, characters, and treasures to find. You will be able to cross over at any time thanks to the Umbral Lamp and, if you die in the living realm, you will be resurrect in the undead one with one final chance to survive.

As an added bonus, the presentation also shows off more about Lords of the Fallen's co-op feature. Once you get to a rest point in-game, all you will have to do is choose to invite a friend, or even grab a random companion, and you will be able to venture out with each other for as long as you desire. You will also be able to create your own rest point, but it does have some restrictions.
There were a lot more details also revealed like the revised combat system that will allow for a ton of variety thanks to how it weaves melee, magic, and ranged abilities, as well as the ability to map up to 4 additional skills for immediate access. There's a lot of flexibility for the system, so playing around with the abilities to string together the best combos is going to be a ton of fun.

I can describe even more, but honestly, I think it is best to just watch the presentation because it looks so good!
Lords of the Fallen will be released on October 13th on Steam and can be wishlisted or pre-purchased now for $60. There is also a Deluxe Edition that you can get for $70 that includes the Dark Crusader starting class, an artbook, soundtrack, and 3D model viewer, as well as the base game.
