LEGO Voyagers shocked me when it was announced, and I didn't expect to see a LEGO game like it. Taking the role of two sentient LEGO blocks to work together to overcome obstacles is awesome, and I am overjoyed to see a game like it. Today, it was just released into the wild, and about 30 minutes after it had dropped, it got the esteemed Steam Deck Verified badge.

With the Verified badge, Valve has noted that the game is good to play on the Steam Deck. It means the controller functions correctly, shows the correct controller icons, text is legible, and the default configuration runs well on the Deck. And for the most part, they are right! The game is awesome to play on the Steam Deck, and I have had the pleasure of playing it for review. There is still a little bit I have to write for it, so our full review will be posted tomorrow, but if you need confirmation that this is good on the go, I am happy to confirm it.
I have been playing a ton, and while on the short side, some of the puzzles are just so much fun. I found myself sabotaging my partner multiple times as we tried to progress, making them fall into the abyss below or flinging them before they were in position. The building mechanics are also quite interesting, and I like how Light Brick Studio implemented them, making it feel accessible, while still seeming weird. And they made the decision to include a Friend's Pass so only one person has to own the game, and it's just so consumer-friendly that I can't help but smile seeing it.

LEGO Voyagers is on sale for its launch at $22.49. There were some problems purchasing the game initially, which only gave you access to the Friend's Pass, but this should be fixed now.
