Finding new games to play on the Steam Deck is always a treat, and it's even better when the game is free. Well, today, we have a new free game that went live, and it looks to be a good one to play on the Deck, especially if you are a fan of racing games.

Until January 18th, you can add Initial Drift Online to your Steam library, giving you a chance to own this MMO racing game forever. In it, you will go head to head against your friends in a semi-open world based on some of Japan's mountain passes. You will earn money and experience, buy new cars and customize them, attempt to set records, and much more.
On top of that, Initial Drift Online is rated playable on the Steam Deck, only noting that the in-game text is on the small side. And according to one ProtonDB report it has, it's poorly optimized, but should still be able to hit 60 FPS in most areas. Still, for a game we can get for free, it's worth adding to our libraries and checking it out!

Initial Drift Online can be added to your library on Steam for free until January 18th.
