Dynasty Warriors: Origins is not like other Dynasty Warriors games, but that's definitely not a bad thing. The more JRPG-focused entry in the series is a great blend of the classic hack-and-slash gameplay with a JRPG twist, and as I stated in my review, I loved it. However, when I was playing, there was an issue on the Steam Deck that forced me to try other options to play, but a new patch is here to fix that!

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is discounted on Fanatical now for $57.39 if you want to purchase it now.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins

A new update that was released yesterday includes a couple of great additional features and fixes, and one of them is specifically for the Steam Deck. The graphical distortion that occurred when using FSR 3 upscaling on the Steam Deck has now been fixed, making the upscaler a viable option for those wanting to play at higher framerates or graphical quality. I will have to test and see how far we can get for myself, but I am happy it's now an option.

The update also includes a new Photo Mode that you can activate whether on the world map or in battle, a new set of Lion Dragon armor as an outfit for our protagonist, and some minor bugs have been cleaned out.

You can check out the changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.
