DOGWALK is an adorable, short game that is free to play on Steam, and it has certainly caught my attention. As the name suggests, the game allows you to explore a lovely little wintery world as a big, fluffy dog, and it is a gorgeous little experience. A new patch has improved things across the board, including some nice changes for the Steam Deck.

This new DOGWALK patch is pretty nice. The main takeaway for Steam Deck owners is that the camera now zooms properly into the map boards, which should help with reading the text on the Steam Deck and similar screens. Before, the text was sometimes a little hard to read, so this is a big improvement, especially for those with poor eyesight. Other improvements include a better introduction to the game, smoother camera controls, and assorted bug fixes.

DOGWALK is free on Steam and rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, so there is no excuse not to try it!
