Mystic Forge and Heckmouse partnered up with producer Rami Ismail and are pleased to announce that DOG WITCH is all set to release on Steam on November 5. The game allows you to throw dice and unleash powerful combos as a legendary Dog Witch, merging the best of dice-driven roguelikes and deck-builders.

Andy Runyon (Heckmouse) says, “I started working on DOG WITCH in late 2019 with the goal of capturing the feeling of mastering a deep, punishing game like Magic: The Gathering and distilling it into something that plays like an approachable arcade experience. During this time, I've been very lucky to have a single tester, my mom's retired husband, a chess and bridge player with no nerd game experience, to shape the game just by gauging his pure, caveman-level-gamer reactions to things. A lot has changed in my life since then, but I have remained obsessed with card game mechanics. Yes, there’s a cute dog, and yes, you can pet it. But the game is about mastery."

DOG WITCH is the perfect game for you if you love the strategic layering of games like Slay the Spire. Collect more than 150 magical artifacts, summon allies, and master the dice to progress.

Charge spells, create combos, and activate item effects with each dice roll. The game includes fast-paced, high-stakes action. You can become the best strategist if you experiment more. Optimize each run by mastering the balance between luck and planning. Merge your spells, relics, and gear for additional power.

Use your weapons to eliminate Cat Ladies, Vending Machines, and other creatures inspired by franchises like Adventure Time. The puzzles will test your skills in different ways. Summon laser ponies, gun-toting rats, and skeleton sidekicks to fight against your enemies. Plus, you can create your own pet and select your fur, hat, bark, and chonk level.
