Cats Around Us: Black Cat knows what people want, and that is a cosy game about finding a black kitty in a comic. Think Where’s Waldo, but in feline form! Despite the impressive launch, it had some problems on the Steam Deck that held it back, but this week’s patch has fixed them.

These fixes are twofold. The first one was fixing the bizarre bug that occurred when using the touchscreen, as the cursor would lag heavily. The other adds a dedicated jigsaw rotate button for the mouse and controller, making the gameplay much smoother on PC and the Steam Deck. It’s important to note that the game engine used to make Cats Around Us: Black Cat plays weirdly with the Steam Deck with touch positions, so it is recommended to use a gamepad for drag-and-drop actions.

Cats Around Us: Black Cat is just $2 on Steam, with a 10% launch discount at $1.79 until September 22.
